Suzukake Clinic joined the 36th International Epilepsy Congress in Lisbon, proudly representing Purple Day Asia — this time with an international dream team from Japan, the United States, and Latvia.

Our booth was the most “purple meeting spot,” where we shared handmade items created with our community back home. We were excited to reconnect with friends we met at past congresses in Rome and Dublin — it felt like a joyful reunion across continents.

During the sessions, our staff deepened their knowledge about Dravet syndrome and learned how different countries approach epilepsy care. Seeing how each region supports patients in their own way was inspiring — and gave us new ideas to bring home.

All Purple Heroes welcomed guests every day in our photo booth — 2 Purple Man, 2 Purple Woman, and even The Purple Baby. There were laughs, photos, hugs, and very enthusiastic “PURPLE DAY!!” moments in several languages.

We return with new learning, new friendships, and renewed motivation to keep building understanding and community — across Asia and the world.
